- Tired of their abusive husbands, three women plan and execute their murders. It is an almost-perfect plan until Pankaj Mishra, assigned to the case, realises there is more to it.
- Based on the successful Finnish drama. Veera, Jayati and Kavita, tired of abusive, unloving husbands, plan and execute their husbands' murder in what they make look like a boat accident. It was an almost-perfect plan: the boat blew up in the middle of the sea in what looked like a simple boating accident while the three couples were on a quick vacation. It's a secret the three women share, a secret that will help them move on from the drudgery of their unhappy lives. The police investigation led by Inspector Pankaj Misra and Inspector Rinku Sharma do not suspect the 'grieving widows'. The story of the accident begins to unravel when the innocent boat blast is confirmed by forensics to be a bomb blast. To add to the women's problems, Rameez--Veera's husband Jatin's business partner--believes that Jatin has hidden some money that belongs to him. This leads to the women realizing that the transport company J M Transport run by Jatin was involved in shady dealings with a pharmaceuticals company, MediPharma. And the final nail in the coffin is the discovery that Jatin isn't dead at all. What starts as a simple plan by the women, begins to build a web around them and they start getting caught in it. How they get out and save themselves forms the spine of the series.—Devdeepa Mukherjee
- Veera, Jayati, and Kavita are fed-up of their abusive husbands Jatin, Lalit, and Nilesh--and plan to kill them. During Lalit's 50th birthday celebration at his lake house they plant a bomb in their boat leading to their deaths. The trio start living like single ladies but are always under the scanner of Inspector Pankaj and his assistant Rinku. Many people related to the boat blast are killed, throwing more suspicious onto the trio while Jatin, who survived the attack, suddenly returns. He is hiding out, suspecting that businesswoman Inaya Thakur, who runs a fake-vaccination racket with the JM Transport Company where Jatin, Lalit, and Nilesh were partners, is behind the blast.—alex.mjacko@gmail.com
