  The Mandalorian : He doesn't want to go with you.

  Luke Skywalker : He wants your permission. He is strong with the Force, but talent without training is nothing. I will give my life to protect the Child... but he will not be safe until he masters his abilities.

  The Mandalorian : [picks up Grogu]  Hey, go on. That's who you belong with. He's one of your kind. I'll see you again. I promise.

• The Mandalorian : [after removing his helmet; to Grogu]  Alright, pal. It's time to go. Don't be afraid.

  [he sets Grogu down and faces Luke, but then notices Grogu is hugging his leg. R2-D2 then rolls in behind Luke. Grogu turns and walks over to Artoo. Artoo leans over to look at Grogu. Grogu coos happily while Artoo beeps excitedly while wobbling back and forth. Luke and the Mandalorian share a look. Grogu looks up at Luke and raises his arms. Luke bends over and picks him up before turning back to the Mandalorian] 

  Luke Skywalker : May the Force be with you.

  [Luke turns and walks toward the elevator. As he does, Grogu looks back at the Mandalorian, who has tears in his eyes. Luke steps into the elevator and Artoo rolls in beside him. Grogu and the Mandalorian share one final look before the elevator door closes]
