When a relationship goes sour and you're unable to handle it, seek solace in a friend or a therapist even if you're unable to handle it, but don't go on a murdering spree. Beyond that, don't go doing it on social media or Facebook Live like Steve Stephens did in Cleveland. Creating fake accounts of your ex as a prank sending 1,100 people to their job and home looking for sex like a recent suit against the gay dating app Grindr isn't funny either. The internet can be a scary place and JaVonni Brustow of PopGlitz and Anthony Smith of Urban Uncut Magazine discuss it all on this installment of #TheCut.

This week showed Black Hollywood going rogue starting with Steve Harvey requesting his staff not to look him in the eye. The request along with his other requests were so extreme he even had to go into hiding after the public found out about them. Rapper Bow Wow lied about taking a private jet by posting a picture of one he found online on Instagram, something a 12 year old that just joined would do. Of course he posted it while sitting in coach and was called out for it and lastly Monique decided to torch whatever bit of a career she still has by telling Oprah Winfrey to suck her ****. This and more was discussed on this week's #TheCut.

Anthony Smith of Urban Uncut Magazine has joined PopGlitz.com Founder JaVonni Brustow for the new podcast show #TheCut. Topics discussed were Bill O'Reilly saying Congresswoman Maxine Waters wears a James Brown wig, the Drexel University professor and serial troll who tweeted how disgusted he was at someone giving their seat to a military vet, the people who claim Donald Trump isn't their president were addressed as well as lessons on love and relationships. JaVonni interviewed Anthony to reintroduce him to audiences after he took some time away from the industry.

For this week of #TheCut, JaVonni started by addressing the Lavar Ball controversy where he took on the media defending his decision to create his own shoe brand for his son versus a Nike endorsement. In the show's open, he points out how easy it is to follow the media's narrative of picking on a black athlete simply trying to be a good father. For those who think cultural appropriation isn't a thing, Twitter is partnering with BET to do a study on #BlackTwitter so if it isn't a thing, we certainly have a clear example of a blatant attempt at capitalizing off of black culture.
