The film was independently financed by getting average people on the street as well as friends and family of the producers to become Associate Producers by buying units in the film for R5000 a unit.
The film was shot in 12 days, 10 of which were night shoots.
The film was based on a play called "Discreet, Upmarket, 24/7" which ran for two years prior to being made into a movie by longtime friends and collaborators James, Anel and Joshua
