It's hard to believe, in 2020, that this film is almost 15 years old. It's painful to see the residents of this hotel having to go through what they have and it's painful to think about how much of this has gone on since - all the while, hipsters do their part to perpetuate it all. I try to love the city of Toronto but this great documentary reminds me of just how ugly and cold it can be.
