Flawless comedy.

Alison's world is turned upside down when a surprise visitor arrives at Button Hall, and makes a huge revelation.

Please God take pity on The Loose Women. Not wrong there......Mary, 2021.

No question, this is absolutely the best thing on The BBC, it continues to be absolute comedy dynamite.

As it stands, this is the lowest rated episode, however, it's one of my favourites, I thought this was absolutely wonderful, I loved it from start to finish.

We had the depth of Alison's personal story, we had Kitty and Pat's dance moves, and we had the incredible, and pretty poignant story of Julian's passing.

For me, this was virtually perfect, stunning episode, 10/10.

Warning: Spoilers
I think this is one of the best episodes of Ghosts yet. Absolutely hilarious especially Robin, this episode I would describe as "his time to shine" an absolutely brilliant portrayal and very well written indeed, they don't oft give both Mike and Alison a plot of their own but in this episode they did and in such a short time it worked so very well. I thought Mike's phone call would turn out to be some relation of Alison's new sister and maybe they will be. I shall have to wait till next Monday to find out however!

Warning: Spoilers
Was hoping Julian's backstory was a little bit stronger, but not too much you can complain about this episode. This show continues to be quite strong even in filler episodes.

A Lot To Take In

This episode did well in giving almost everyone in the cast something to do.

There is an oblique reference to the Covid pandemic. Mike has a new and job and it's working from home.

However his first day at work is short lived. He keeps a woman on the phone for a hour chatting about her family history.

As for Alison. A surprise visitor suddenly makes her family history rather complex. She has a long lost half sister called Lucy.

Lady Fanny is suspicious of Lucy and I reckon she might be right. It could be the overarching plot for the third series.

It is also Julian Fawcett's turn to shine. As Mike was nervous about his first day at a new job. Julian had no such nerves of his first day at school, university or Parliament. It was always the same people he met.

His first day as a ghost was a lot to take in.

There are a few misses with such a large cast. Mainly there were some good laughs and Saturday Night is still an insanely catchy.
