• [Didi rings the Finsters' doorbell; Kira opens the front door] 

  Kira Finster : Didi! What a surprise.

  Didi Pickles : [holds out a green book]  I brought you a little present. Lipschitz recommends this book: Step Up to Step-Parenting.

  Kira Finster : [takes the book]  Oh, that's great. Come on in.

  Didi Pickles : [chuckles]  Oh, thanks, but I'd better get back. Stu's robotic salad spinner's already broken two windows.

  [leaves] 

  Kira Finster : [opens the book as she closes the door]  "Chapter One: Make your new child feel welcome by performing thoughtful gestures." Hmm...
