Jack Riley: Stu Pickles
Quotes
-
[Chas wears a headband and tank top whilst carrying a book and wearing a drum around his neck]
Charles "Chas" Finster : So, what do you think?
Stu Pickles : Nice look, Chas. What's with the drum?
[they go outside; Didi sits in a rocking chair on the front porch as she gives Dil his bottle]
Didi Pickles : Charles! What on earth?
Charles "Chas" Finster : Well, I bought this book: Nerd to Neanderthal in Five Easy Steps.
[opens the book]
Charles "Chas" Finster : In Chapter Four, it says, "A primative drum beat speeds up the cave-manification of the mild-mannered man."
[chuckles and he closes the book]
Charles "Chas" Finster : I hope so. I'd like to find my inner caveman before I catch a cold. Well, I'm off to the woods.
-
Stu Pickles : That cabin is so flimsy, there isn't even anything to keep out the elements.
Tommy Pickles : Elephants? Why was my daddy talking about elephants?
-
["The Old Country"; first lines]
Stu Pickles : Don't make me go, Deed. I'm begging ya.
Didi Pickles : Honestly, Stu! You're acting like going to Mom and Dad's cabin for the weekend is some kind of torture!
Stu Pickles : No electricity, no indoor plumbing. We might as well stay in Spike's doghouse! Why do they rent that shack every year?
Didi Pickles : I think it reminds them of when they were young, you know, like in the Old Country.
-
["The Jungle"; first lines]
Didi Pickles : Oh, Stu! Wouldn't these orchids look beautiful where the shed used to be?
Stu Pickles : Oh, sure, Deed, if we lived in the Amazon. What that spot *really* needs is good, old Kentucky bluegrass. Acres and acres of it spreading from our back door to... well, you know, the fence.
Lou Pickles : *I* say we ought to grow somethin' you can eat, like corn or soy beans.
[Stu shoots Lou a confused look]
Lou Pickles : You can make most anything out of soy beans, you know.
