This season has blown my expectations away, I just expected this to be a low budget average show but it's easily the best live action superhero show to date and this episode is the best of the lot. The ending was incredible and the fight scenes in this episode were insane and brutal. 10/10.

Hands down, my all-time favorite scene is the squad releasing an ambush against the Butterflies. James Gunn does know how to pull off an action scene. Ironic they use the song as the intro for this one, and it fits! So badass, full of gore, and brutal hits. Peacemaker with a shield? Hell yeah! This is better than Cap's Shield. This is one of the best finales I've ever seen filled with exciting action-packed scenes, large tensions, massive character development, tightly-paced, great performances all around, carefully explains the plot details rather than being "one of those finales", solid humor, every character has their own time to shine, just a satisfying payoff to an absolutely bombastic series. I was a bit weary of the series in the first place, but I should never underestimate James Gunn. 8 weeks is worth watching such an experience.
About that Justice League cameo, it's quite nice to see them one more time before the Snyderverse gets rebooted due to Flashpoint. Sorry for those #RestoreTheSnyderVerse fellows. It's too late as The Flash is in post-production. Hell, I would love to see more, but we can look back and be glad it once existed.

Great episode with emotional and hilarious moments. The action was spectacular in this episode. Very brutal and beautifully coreographed.
The humor is great and unique. There are no dull moments with Peacemaker and Vigilante.

The best ending u could imagine (season two) coming!
I can't wait to see what's coming next, I really wanted to see SUPER major cameos from The Suicide squad cast (characters) , but didn't happen, but that doesn't mean it won't happen!

This was a great way to end season one. Plenty of surprises and John Cena surprises me in every episode. His acting skills has improved from his first feature film to now. James Gunn you SOB, be proud of this show. I had a blast watching this. I hope people felt the same.

So we finally get the big clash between the team and the Cow Milk Eater Butterflies and it doesn't disappoint at all.
The first fight scene of Peacemaker, Vigilante and Harcourt vs the Butterflies is really great and is the best action and fight scene of the whole show and the cinematography of that scene is great too.
Only thing I didn't like was the quick cuts in the dark scenes especially when Peacemaker goes into the barn and it happens so fast and it's so dark and the shots are really closeup that it's hard to fathom what's happening.
Adebayo suddenly becoming John Wick was really a stretch. She didn't even know how to shoot like in episode 5 and it's been like 2 or 3 days and now she's suddenly kicking ass with guns? Bruh.
Goff's monologue about their species' motivation was pretty cheesy but I liked Peacemaker's response to it.
That ending with those characters, which you know whom I'm talking about, was pretty hilarious and I like that they actually brought those actors for the show, or at least two of them.
Overall it's a great conclusion to the season and somethings are still open for the next one. Enjoyed this series very much and the finale was good too.

A true masterpiece. James Gunn got a dark, edgy DC Universe full of gritty superheroes and unnecessary drama, and somehow managed to create a story that is funny, heartbreaking, beautiful and thrilling. It is in no way a copy of Marvel's success, but a original piece of superhero TV. The entire series was a pleasure to watch.
This was the best thing i seen in 2 years.

I doubt Peacemaker would had worked without James Gunn. He even managed to have the Justice League to pay a brief cameo.
Peacemaker cannot get over the death of his father. He needs to reconcile with Leota Adebayo's betrayal.
He even needs help from Eagly to deal with the Butterfly invasion and kill the alien cow that is the food source for the butterflies.
Again an episode that is irreverent, has plenty of action and even some pathos.
The first series of Peacemaker has been campy fun, not to be taken too seriously and allowed John Cena to break out as a star away from wrestling.

One of the most satisfying finales I've ever seen in a debut season. I can't wait for the world building of the DCEU! That means The Suicide Squad is now also part of the Justice League universe!!!
James Gunn is one of the most creative writers and directors in this generation. From the dry twisted humours to heartfelt lines merged into a seamless vision. Peacemaker is one of the most thrilling ride of emotions I've ever experience. Beautifully done; comic-accurate on screen! I cannot wait for the next season!

James Gunn has done it again, this finale is packed with so much excellence. The action is top notch, the characters are excellent, the music is awesome, the humor is hilarious, the conclusion overall is one of the best conclusions I could ever ask for. And that cameo bro, amazing.

Peacemaker still kills the cow because - in the show's own words - humans have to collectively make the decision to address issues like the environment instead of letting a select few (in this case aliens) force us into it or take us over.
In fact, they're likely supporting something close to what you believe, not those that you'd deem the "woke" crowd. And if the point of a show based on a comic book went WAY over your head, I wonder what else has?

Just another fun, bonkers episode in a fun, bonkers show. To address some of the other reviews, if you're of the belief that facts are subjective or that the revolutionary idea that maybe we shouldn't destroy our planet is too "woke", you may not like this episode. That also just means you're a moron too, so, sucks to suck.

Look how one little joke upsets sooo many people. The joke is barely noticeable but it triggered people to the point where they leave bad reviews. And they call other people sensitive LOL but anyways one of the best super hero shows I've ever seen. James Gunn is a genius and can't wait for season 2. And that suprise cameo at the end!!! The actions are great very graphic, well coreographed and hillariously chaotic. I can't handle John Cena but the series is too great to miss. Even the message is reaaalllyyyy good, before you say that this is a "woke garbage" NO, think again, the "evil" is on the side of the extreme and that exists on both sides. If you think about it really closely the butterflies are the fascists lmao.
Not to mention the ending gives me hope.

I greatly enjoyed this finale. Unlike some it wasn't a let down as the show didn't run out of steam. Great fight scenes and moments of humor are seamlessly blended in classic Gunn style. The cameos were excellent and one of the best jokes of the episode. Looking forward to season 2.
Some people have been bothered by the reveal of the butterfly's plan, but it's really not that big of a deal in the "woke vs not' culture war. What I did find funny about it was an interview with James Gunn where he said it was a statement about anti-science, but in order for the butterfly's plan to succeed we'd have to wipe out independent thought and reason and replace it with a hive mind where no questions can be asked. I can agree with him that it sounds familiar.

James Gunn knows how to handle actual comedy and story telling in one story. This is a story for a Z list character that no one knew that they wanted but im certainly looking forward to the new series if this continues under the direction of Gunn. This was grounded with being exciting, hilarious with being heartfelt and to top it off if this continues there maybe hope for DC going forward
The whole production of the series was spot on, CGI budget was obviously far less than some other shows but no issues with the interaction between the real life and all the other aspects of the show. There have been far to many shows not handling these stories well but this is just perfectly done from losing family, aliens and a racist father training a hitman son. At the end of the series im waiting for the story to go to the next level but still being as grounded as the stories can be.
Overall i think that the DCU is in safe hands going forward but still is the craziest decision to remove henry cavil as Superman. Just dont see the point of him return and then not, hes been messed around far to much so i can certainly see why he cant return ever now.
