Crazy episode - Lois goes off the rails to feel appreciated!!
mja5829 March 2021
Poor Lois loses it trying to get some appreciation at home and at a coffee shop. At times the antics and their results seemed pretty dark...

The Stewie comments were the usual smart-alecky spot on.

The secondary (all be it brief) story about Peter and the earwig was pretty funny.

Keep it up Family Guy!

So far, this is the most likeable episode of this season. More creation put inside, episode just for Lois which is already something inventive. I've enjoyed this episode from beginning to the end.

Thats pretty cool and all, but you should do it for peter, then create a story line, coherent if you can, and do it for multiplle episodes, and then i won't wonder how it hasn't been cancelled yet. Jk it will be perfect. Love this show anyways.

Warning: Spoilers
Great in small doses. But Stewie having a good point about "Spider Man Into the spider verse" being the best Spider Man film.... Spoiler Alert: it is.

Ugh

Yeah... what?!? By the promos, I was excited for the Stewie sideplot. But there was none! The beginning gave me hope.. the middle not so much.. at the end, "that was it?!" The normal (and great) Family Guy format is there is a plot that doesn't relate to the main theme, but it is a bridger. Then, it splits off into two different stories. This missed all of that. There was no first plot, it just jumped right in. There was no bridge, and there was only one story. This was a plot that wasn't strong on its own. Peter could've tried to rival Lois, it could show what went on at home with Lois not around. The beginning was good, as it showed reality and a difference of plots. If it had kept like that, it would've been awesome! To add, it kept skeeming over. It went too fast, there was no one focused storyline. They could've gone in with the kidnapping.. they could've done a prision one (although they've done a lot of those..), but no. It kept moving, way too fast. I always go in with the highest of hopes in these episodes, and this was more than a let down. This was confusing... and bad. Lois episodes are rare and not as hated as Meg episodes, so they could have done a lot. But nope.

We need more character focus episodes like this
dawithermc29 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was really good, and completely surprised me with how focused it was on Lois' character, in past seasons I've actually liked Lois' more short-tempered maybe even evil personality, so seeing it here in full blast was a treat, especially that ending, that was just great, as they don't give Lois customer of the week cause she doesn't deserve it We need more episodes like this one, ones that focus on the characters, rather than current events or just being jokes for 22 minutes.

really good and unique episode
standledropstan29 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
In this episode we get to see how no matter how many good things lois does she never gets the appreciation she deserves, this episode has a few jokes but other than that the main focus is lois doing anything to feel appreciated which gets her into a ton of trouble and i kinda think it had the message that no matter how unappreciated you are you should never stop being a good person.

An example of good change
zzzckuzzzgaizir29 March 2021
I love seeing what Lois does in her day to day life and it is actually very interesting. The animation is really good aswell being a major step up from previous seasons. I also loved seeing the piano room again which Lois teaches piano lessons in from time to time.

One of the best Episode
snehajha20504 December 2023
This episode was absolutely engaging from the get-go; the background music pulled me in rather quickly. It was so refreshing to see, especially after previous episodes. I hated the 12th episode 'And Then There's Fraud' which was so freaking meaningless. I wished they had focused on Meg's story; it was so engaging. In its 19th season, I think it's time to focus on other characters instead of Peter, Brian, and Stewie. They have been explored to its limit. Like this episode, I would rather watch episodes centering on Lois, Meg, Joe, Cleaveland, and other characters. I loved Lois' descent into madness. Please make more of such episodes.

This was unbearable
jpapanone9 May 2021
I have no problems with a show trying something different...and so I'm not judging it on that.

All comes down to...was it enjoyable...was it watchable...was it funny?

As I watched this, I kept saying to myself...what the hell is this? What are they doing?

This was my first viewing of this episode, so I'm not sure how to rate it yet. I'll wait until I watch it again...but man oh man...first viewing...I wasnt prepared for this. This is not Family Guy that is stupid and absurd and all over the place.

This is much darker etc. So...I went in expecting X...and I was not prepared for where it went or how it got there.

One thing
jacobyherman10 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Every other episode shows Lois's simple and selfless life. Her life is like a straight line and all she wants is one simple thing to show that her life has any significance at all. The desire of something that would seem to simple to someone else drove her into madness. While most family guy episodes are stupid and have no point this episode is disgustingly underrated because it doesn't have the same appeal others have. But even though this episode is a masterpiece it went to far from its beautiful premise in an attempt to make it more interesting but instead it just made it feel like another stupid episode. 9.7 rounded to 10.

Time to pull the plug
Hazu294 April 2021
This is not really family guy anymore, Seth lost his touch or maybe he's just too afraid to offend people nowadays. Just create a new show with a new name so most of us don't get tricked to watch this garbage. Pull the plug. Ps: this was written by a real person that actually watches the show. Cheers.

Customer of the Week

Certainly an inventive episode, but this would have been better served a short 5 minute segment and not a whole installment.
