However even then the tanks are not realistic but everything else is. I guess I'll just put it this way. It looks like it was filmed on 8 mm.
Because also these were watched on a little black and white TV set and that was okay. But on my big screen you see the amateur but realistic acting. That's the best way I can describe it.
Because it's based on our true stories and they use real American troops it does make it kind of interesting. They use a later model Paton tank, and call it a Sherman but hey.
From what I can gather it's simply everyday soldiers volunteering for a film and actually it's quite well done. It just needs little polishing and a Direction. Well that's it. Worth a watch if you like World War II.
