Not bad

Warning: Spoilers
Well i don't watch Celeb juice as much anymore as it has got old to me, but i do think it is good, it does make me laugh, it is risky, rude, offensive... but it is Keith Lemon.. what do people expect, that is how his character is meant to be... he is meant to be rude, offensive, annoying etc. If you don't like it then there are always other channels you can watch. There are a lot worse shows on TV now days.

I like the character Keith Lemon, he is funny, risky etc and i think if there was a different host, it wouldn't be celeb juice anymore, he would be missed, no one is as risky as him. It is not just him being funny, it is the things he says, they shock you, you wouldn't expect someone on TV to say the stuff he does so you laugh in shock. It makes a change from programmes being so serious and professional, c'mon it is good to see a show where celebs can be themselves and have a laugh instead of being stuck up and boring.

I think the main people who won't like this are the people that aren't from England, i think England has the more risky, down to earth comedy / shows etc, other places seem to have more clean (for me boring ) comedy. I do and have always preferred English comedy but everyone has their own preferences. You will obviously like what you are personally used to.

I think people need to give this show more of a chance and don't judge after seeing just 1 of the programmes, you can't pretend you know all about it after watching one 1 hour show.

I think it deserves a 7 out of 10.

Low brow humor at its finest.
Jessabelle_12 April 2017
The quality of Celebrity Juice varies depending on who the guests are and the games that are played. However, even during the worst episodes, I am still entertained. No other show has had me in tears from laughter with my cheeks hurting from smiling as much as Celebrity Juice. This show is extremely lewd. If you don't like low brow comedy, stay away.

Celebrity Juice

Warning: Spoilers
I admit that I did not get into this show until a few series later since it started, I guess I just forgot about it often or found other things to watch that were broadcast at the same time, but when I finally watched an episode I have hooked since. Presented by Keith Lemon (Leigh Francis), formerly of Bo' Selecta! and Bo' in the USA!, with regular team captains Holly Willoughby (nicknamed Holly "Willoughbooby") and Fearne Cotton, the show is an alternative comedy panel show looking at the popular stories of the week in the news, specifically focusing on celebrities and the culture of celebrity, and playing ridiculous and funny games to win points for the team. Regular games played include Lemon Head where the team picks a sector and answer a question based on a clue given; Keith vs. where a VT (video tape) shows Keith taking on a celebrity guest, regular guests have included Jedward (John and Edward Grimes), Verne Troyer, David Hasselhoff and the stars of Coronation Street, and the two teams have to guess who won the challenge; Cover Stories where the teams choose a category on the face of a large magazine cover, a celebrity pops out to say the category and talk a little, and then the teams a ridiculous game to get points, and finally The Buzzer Round where questions or read out or pictures are shown about recent celebrity news and the teams have to answer correctly. Guests on the panel have included Rufus Hound (formerly regular panelist), Dermot O'Leary, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Paddy McGuinness, Katie Price, Katy Brand, Peter Andre, Gareth Gates, Russell Kane, Chico Slimani (also Cover Stories), Emma Bunton, Jack Whitehall, Lee Ryan, Tim Vine, David Gest, Rob Rouse, Kerry Katona, Jason Byrne, Stephen K. This show is a good excuse to see gross and perverse jokes seen and played out in silly games, and good in some ways to catch up with the latest celebrity culture, a great fun and a great laugh. Very good!

Bang Tidy!
flarenixie-121 October 2011
I was interested to see where Leigh Francis would take "Keith Lemon". After seeing "Keith" appear in "Bo Selecta" and "Very Brilliant World Tour", Leigh has developed "Keith" further. The "game show format" just provides a platform for "lurid comedy escapades". I watched my first episode with tears of laughter streaming down my face. Im not a fan of the game show, thats not really a game show where there are a panel and each side just tries to be funnier than the other, but this works and is hilarious because the guests are put through some of the funniest stuff I have ever seen! My only negative is the continued use of Jedward, but the games in which they are involved are mildly amusing and Keith often steals the lime light, so its only a minor negative. I look forward to watching every week.....Shhh Ting!!

Leigh Francis let loose in a quiz show environment
cuckingfunt26 June 2011
Warning: Spoilers
When I first heard Keith Lemon was going to be hosting this show I was a little bit nervous, as he has appeared on Bo Selecta and A Bear's Tail and there was nothing really good about the character, and he was a bit bland and softly spoken.

However, for this show the character has developed to be a lot more crazy and rude than ever before, and it works.

Some jokes win and some weeks it is really funny, other weeks it can be a bit boring depending on what guests there are on it.

The show is your typical quiz show, but where Celebrity Juice wins is that it's not censored, rude and damn right funny.

Was 10/10 Now 0/10 (As of 2020)

Some fantastic moments and the early years were fantastically funny, however it seems in recent years the ideas has run dry. Now we have "Mel B" she is awful. To avoid disappointment simply miss out the last 3 to 4 series' (2017-2020). Mel B stopped me watching the show, so she is a powerful influence in all the wrong ways. Goog programme ruined.

Raucous, crude, irreverent and genuinely funny with it.
Gotrek_Fabian23 April 2020
Celebrity Juice is a quiz-com of sorts with A-Z Listers (usually comedians and pop stars) filling the seats of the panel and hosted by Keith Lemon (an alter ego of the comedian Leigh Francis. Games consist of macabre requests designed to make the panel feel stupid, ugly or uncomfortable for the audience's pleasure. Sure, the experience isn't for everyone and can at times be somewhat puerile but if you know who Keith Lemon is already you'll know whether the show is for you or not. Some episodes are funnier than others but that's the nature of unscripted TV.

My favourite game has to be the one where Ant and Dec are put in a box and asked to feel around and guess what the item is. Google it, it's an absolute riot and my cheeks genuinely hurt from laughing when I first watched it.

Time to retire
jonmccann5 April 2019
The show is quite simple...Swear as crude as possible and reference sex as much as you can, whilst referencing women as sex objects!

It is probably one of the last shows on TV that has an undertone of sexual exploitation to it, which in partly is due to the fact it uses bodily humour as much as sexual humour, to be specific, if it was just demeaning to women it would have been canned a long time ago!

Sadly it has just become a show for C lister celebs to try and garner some attention, usually when having something to 'plug', and the humour element is now tired and dated. I often think that the show would be better suited as a chat show format, as the quiz element has long gone and the majority of challenges are now just tired, dated and unfunny.

Keith Lemon, as he likes to be called, does have a naturally funny style of questioning and as such could be probably do better trying something new, before he is eclipsed by funnier people with a fresher format of TV.

A Once Great Show

Have loved Celebrity Juice for years but the last season and this current season is utter garbage. Same old jokes but with two terrible team captain's. Time to end it as it's just not what it used to be.

Has its moments
mattcymru21 April 2022
I was a big fan of leigh francis previous show Bo Selecta (yes, keith lem isnt his real name). Im not a fan of this character. The show is very crude and stupid with lots of annoying celebrities (jedward were very prominent earlier in the history). It is quite intresting though to see female celebrities subject to some quite gross humour. I watched tonights episode where there was talk of male and female genatalia. The girls are quite happy to go along with it it seems. I wont say too much in case my comment is rejected!

Wont be long before the woke brigade will ban it... for misogyny or whatever.. i dunno, id say its half good half bad. Maybe its time leigh gave the lemon character arest though.. its been 14 years ?? The new captains are okay and do refresh it a bit.

Good grief
Lssah200619 October 2012
The concept was good and the guests were very funny (This episode had Al Murray, Holly Valance and a few others I have never heard of before), but the "host" was a tool. It started off like an English version of the Aussie TV show 'Good News Week' and I thought it might have had a bit of potential, but after watching one episode I just wanted to gouge my eyes out and wear headphones playing white noise at high volume! He was not funny and the show seemed to revolve around his antics, yelling and stupid voices that just had me staring in disbelief. I do understand that the host is obviously playing some sort of character but it did not make it any funnier, perhaps if he was just being normal it would have had more appeal to me.

With a different host this show would be a lot better. It is clearly popular in the UK as it has survived for 8 seasons now, but I cannot get past the host, he just grates on me too much. I can see why channel seven (Aussie local station) ran it so late at night.

I have no intentions of watching another episode, I would rather be water boarded.

Sorry to the fans of this show, to which there seem to be many, but to me the host ruined too much!

More rubbish from ITV
chris_gaskin1235 December 2012
What I have seen of Celebrity Juice is just a group of people shouting, swearing and acting totally stupid.

After axing good drama like Heartbeat and The Royal, looks like ITV used the money on trash like this and The Only Way is Essex, which is even worse. Celebrity Juice is rude and offensive, certainly not funny and just pointless.

Hosted by Kieth Lemmon, all he does is shout and show off, acting stupid.

Certainly time ITV axed this garbage.

Rating: 0 stars out of 5.

A poor excuse for entertainment
studioAT16 June 2017
This is rubbish. And yet it wins awards?! There truly doesn't seem to be any justice in the TV world.

Leigh Francis is a clever bloke. He's created this monstrous TV persona Keith Lemmon, and the whole world believes that's actually who he is. For a guy who is capable of playing more though I wonder how secretly happy he is to be stuck as this annoying character.

The format here is daft, often rude, and at times very silly. And yet celebs (and I use that word loosely) seem to be queuing up to appear on it.

Utterly baffling.

Lee Francis needs help, he ain't right
floridafart17 August 2022
Celebrity Juice was a refreshing change to the normality and prudishness of most TV offerings. Unfortunately it's descended into base, crude and demeaning farce. Lee Francis appears to have no limits to his crudeness, exploitation of desperate attention by any means guests and disgusting distasteful brand of humour.

There is a line, a line which is good if crossed from time to time. Pushing boundaries has merit. However, celebrity juice is rooted firmly on the grubby, sleazy side of this line. At best Francis behaviour is crude and sleazy, at worst it is creepy and sinister.

Good initially
comedyfan717 April 2024
For the first few series this was arguably one of the funniest shows on television. The original premise of the show was to see which team knows most about the week's tabloid news stories, but the later series focus more on the comedy factor of the participating celebrity guests and various games involving them rather than discussing the week's news. This doesn't make the show any funnier, many of these games are just puerile instead of remotely entertaining. The quality of the guests also got worse and this led to the show being much less funny. Leigh Francis is good as the fictional ladies man Keith Lemon but he can, especially in the later series, become very repetitive and annoying. Though it was poor by the end, I do miss it a bit now it's gone.
