WEAKEST episode of the season!
karimkamal436 November 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is the worst episode this season mainly because of the bad cgi and motion effects which was obviously cut in editing trying to hide this flaws but ended up failing even more(you could have just kept the monster a mystery as the books) , also the plot was kinda cliche with the protagonist Searching for this medicine to save his fiancée Coincidentally in Libya so as the medical conference. And them being in the desert for days like a walk in the park. I hope they adress these mistakes and avoid them in upcoming seasons (hopefully).
Not bad

Not bad at all but not amzing as the first 2 episodes

Warning: Spoilers
To be honest the episode was good but not powerful like the first 2 episodes
i felt like this shows needs more than 7 episodes or needs more time than 1 hour in each episode because in the story there is a lot of details than you can imagine
like literally some details that can make a whole second show
as always the acting of ahmed amin was great , The sequence of events was good
i'm not surprised that they made the guardian of the cave a gorilla because they can't make something that match with our imagination for example in my head the guardian was a rock monster , another person might see it as a giant human or something , so we can say that a giant gorilla is acceptable i guess
Anyway i'm excited to watch more of this show

Are you kidding me?!!!
A gorilla in big desert !!!!!! And two of them not one plus a baby monster. Ohh this was something weak and unwise.
This the legendary monster for you. Come on.
Everything was going well until this MONSTER appear.
I will give it just 6

I don't think it was a good decision to make a gorilla as a cave guardian in the middle of nowhere in the desert. I think they had to choose something mysterious more than a normal gorilla in the desert. Except of that... every thing was perfect
Hate the gorilla?

So everybody is hating on this episode because of the gorilla scene 🦍. I understand, but hear me out..
When you are watching Paranormal (Ma waraa Al tabee'ah), remember this is an Egyptian show. It isn't fair to compare it to what Hollywood produces. Yes Egyptian cinema has roots and history, but it has been controlled by a Mafia for the past few decades where a few directors, script writers, and actors dominate and hold a monopoly over the budgets.
Paranormal is a true breakthrough. It is nothing like what the Egyptian cinema has ever produced. The scriptwriter is nothing short of legendary, peace upon his soul, generations learnt to read thanks to his novels which this series is based on.
The "Assas" was never a gorilla. It was a mythical creature based on the mythology of Northern Africa. In Western productions, the producer would have access to budget, talent, and technology to design such a mythical creature specifically for this role. But this is Egypt that is taking its baby movie steps into the right direction. The director has probably decided to use one of those ready made libraries and buy the rights to an already created renders of a monster. Probably he picked this king-Kong style monster from the library because it suited the environment he created in terms of scenery, colors, lights, and sound effects. Not the most ideal choice, but when all what you have is lemons, you can't produce a burger.
So let us cheer up, this is still the greatest arabic production I have ever watched.
Small step for one director, huge leep for the industry.
Good episode .. but !

Good episode horrible CGI
lhbaker-2878311 November 2021
Although I feel like the bad CGI is not as damaging to this episode as much as people complain about it being. Otherwise equal horror, suspense, and drama to the second episode (not the first). The ending is good too.
Lost me at the CG!

Warning: Spoilers
I didn't like the plot twist. All that suspense building up, and all we got was a Gorilla! A father, mother and baby gorilla living in an abandoned cave in the desert. We didn't even get decent CG. The gorillas looked like they came from the 90s.

Warning: Spoilers
It was a really good episode , and then the monster shows up.
Seriously !!! The guardian of the Cave All the hype building up for A giant Gorilla in Libyan Desert. It ruined the episode ,CG and motion effects made by an amateur , At least get a decent CG .
I didn't like the ending , the twist was lame.
I hope they fix the CG in the next episodes.
