A shocking finale
Tweekums27 February 2013
Warning: Spoilers
As this episode opens a pigeon flies around the Connor house; Cameron takes it outside then crushes it… not a huge shock considering she is a terminator but she meant to let it go; clearly something is wrong with her. She tries to repair her arm and is seen by Riley, she in turn is convinced that Cameron will kill her for seeing that she is a machine. That isn't the only problem with Riley; after her suicide bid Sarah tries to find out more about what happened. A visit to her step father suggests somebody has spoken to her about Judgement Day and her 'school councillor' knows about the trip to Mexico… of course this is actually Jesse not somebody working for the school. As Cameron tries to fix herself Riley eventually realises what Jesse has planned for her and confronts her; this confrontation has a shocking conclusion that I certainly didn't see coming.

For the most part this is a character driven episode; we are made to wonder whether Cameron can be trusted anymore and Sarah's doubts over Riley increase as it becomes clear that she has spoken to somebody about things that could cause them a lot of trouble. This is interesting enough but not particularly exciting; the same can't be said about the end though; the fight between Jesse and Riley was exciting and has a surprising outcome. There is also a secondary plot featuring Derek's attempts to get information from a lawyer involved with Skynet; this doesn't go anywhere though; hopefully it will in the next episode.

Getting better

Warning: Spoilers
Good episode, but sad about Riley and finding out what Jesse's true plans were for her. That was so messed up. When they were fighting I was hoping Riley would overcome Jesse instead of what happened. It really should've been the other way around.

I despise Jesse now and hope John finds out what she did to Riley and avenges her death before the season ends. She needs to get what's coming to her.

A Bird in the Hand...

... is worth more than you can guess, but she'll give you a few buttons, do you know which ones to press, there are those that make excitement, and those that overload, but the biggest and the best is the one that makes explode.

Riley's song has come to an end, by the Aussie Cockney who pays no dividend.
