Ugh!!!

The opposite of Love is hate and I absolutely HATE Love Quinn Goldberg! She is an absolute cluster. She has not self control at all. I'm ready for her to be in the cage.

Warning: Spoilers
Love and her reckless behavior have put Joe and their son Henry in a lot of indispensable problems that are easily avoidable. Cant wait till Joe gets rid of her or the other way around.

Warning: Spoilers
A bit farfetched though .. Cary is nearly double Joe's Size & he is just taken down even in hand-hand combat & he says Shery knows Krav maga..n she's taken down by Love.

Gettin them both to the cage which is in the bakery & no1 abs no1 sees them dragging two adults n loading them in the car ..c'mon!

Great episode but i'm annoyed with Love
revieweranarchy7516 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Love is being super selfish by cheating on the neighbors kid, then getting mad at Joe for dragging him into a swinger party that she wanted to do, then on top of that, SNITCHING THEM BOTH OUT because she can't control her emotions.

I'm definitely team joe but love is really getting more unhinged.

This episode...man oh man, this was a great one. Our love language is violence. Yes please haha!

Sherry has finally grown on me. Can't wait to see the next 2 episodes, just sad they will be the last of the season.

I Love to Hate Love
Oktay_Tuna31 October 2021
Warning: Spoilers
When I look at the reviews here, I see that people are annoyed with Love or they hate her completely and I think that's what we have to think because we are in Joe's perspective. He doesn't want Love so his plan is to find a way to make Love dislike him but if we were in Love's perspective then the plan would have been the complete opposite. The thing is Love is not actually the cheater between these two. Yes she wants to have sex with Theo and all but she doesn't think of him as a partner, she likes her relationship with him just the way it is. On the other hand, Joe wants to get rid of Love and his reasoning behind the foursome is a hidden plan while Love's plan was pretty straightforward. What she wants to gain is to have the same relationship she did with Joe previously. She at first thinks she can ignite their relationship again by swinging but then she realizes that it is violence and keeping a common secret which made them closer. Love and Joe had promised each other that they would kill for each other and Love had realized that killing is what kept their relationship going. The people who went into the cage are all because of Love while Joe did nothing which corresponds with what they want from this relationship: Love wants it to continue, Joe wants to get the hell out. If we were in Love's perspective then maybe we would have wanted this relationship to continue as well and would hate how Joe is unwilling during sex. So I loved this episode because of these things but I have to mention that this episode had some serious pacing issues. The first 25 minutes taking so long and the last 25 minutes being way too fast. I mean having the latter part of the episode play slower would have been way better.

What great writing, twists, and stunts! So well executed, makes the entire season worth every minute. This show really has it all for me. Not a guilty pleasure in my eyes.

The best episode!
sepetcenk27 October 2021
This one is the most hilarious episode of the all three seasons. The 3rd season wasn't satisfying enough but this episode reminds me the essence of You again.

[5.6] The invincible Joe and Love!
cjonesas3 January 2022
Episode 8: The worst episode of this season so far, IMO, all because of the #^%@ writers who are either teen-new or have banged their heads hard on the wall.

Nothing makes sense (anymore), I mean nothing, from their S.escapades to their dinosaur pea-size-brain behaviors. It has as much logic as piranhas chasing other piranhas and as much You-thrill & violent drama as deer in a cool and peaceful woods location.

2 episodes left and the outcome is already clear. Series cancellation, most probably.

The good reviews are all BS
amandatalbothunt18 October 2021
I'm not saying this season is terrible but it's not very good. Major plot holes, WAY too much sex like wtf?? Why is this season so sexual ? I'm sick of watching Victoria Pedretti orgasm every 2 seconds lmfao. The choices the characters make, make aero sense.. I know that can happen in shows and movies but the choices majorly don't make sense. I'm uoset they announced season 4, kinda just want it to be over after this one lol.

The season...
kadenkgcampbell4 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This season is just weird. Everything that is happening so far has been Love's fault. Honestly she might be worse the Joe. If you defend Love (or Joe) you're a psychopath. She killed a woman because she SUSPECTED her husband was cheating, no actual evidence. Knocks out a man and puts him in a cage, ultimately leading to his suicide and framing. She can't control her feelings. THEN screams out to the world she killed Natalie? Honestly she's gotta die. She's absolutely helpless and beyond saving. While doing all of this she's also cheating on her husband. Don't get me wrong Joe is evil too. Just like Penn said, the best justice for his character is death. But seriously this makes me want to scream.

Why WHY did Love scream out that she killed Natalie when she knew the gossip queen was just upstairs. I don't get it?? All that effort put in to covering it all up just down the drain? Also why is this season SO sexual? Like damn 😩

What happened to the good ole YOU?
aeflandreau19 October 2021
Not really sure where the writers' minds went this season, but this suburban dystopia with sex crazed circles of friends is not what drew me into this show when it first aired on Lifetime.

Joe lost his way
surfbreeze5514 November 2021
I don't get Joe's obsession with Marryanne.. one minute he says he's going to be the best husband and they are going to couples therapy and he's happy and the next he's trying to get rid of her for this other women who is a total mess. This show has become a disaster I am so disappointed.

Vulgar (because of the way it was done) Definitely a swing and a miss!
louieshowers10 November 2021
That was the most cringey episode of any series I have ever seen. The foursome was totally forced and unrealistic. The benefits of how this turned out was to show how immoral and soulless people can be. It wasn't a good look for marriage in general. Love is an impossible character to like. Actually Sherry and the juice head have no redeeming qualities about them. Idk.. this episode just kinda lost me.

It's come down to this
shefchenko13 November 2021
I definitely didn't see that episode coming. But as interesting of a concept as this is, the show has thrown itsefl through the window. It has nothing to do with the characters, or any plot at all. It was going downhill, now this one is a bit of a upper, but....still a total mess.

Not enjoying this season.

I like Marianne- so far.

Not sure which direction this is heading. I am watching out of curiosity. Although episode 8 ended in an interesting way... maybe they are going back to the original feel?

Weak episode.
laurhartwick30 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I am curious if some of the same writing team that wrote the orgy house episode of Sex/Life was involved in this episode of You. This is the second time lately that Netflix has tried to convince me neighbors will invite you over to spice it up together, but it will result in violence. Not a plot device I think I am a fan of, it is so far fetched. Or maybe I'm just a bigger prude than I think I am, or hey maybe our neighbors just aren't inviting us to this stuff! (Kidding)

Anyway, watching them put people in that cage is getting old. It's become a catch-all in this show (pun intended).

One other thing that actually irked me, not joking, is that this was a new type of horrible for Joe. We have seen him do awful, violent things. Putting his wife in a sexual situation that made her uncomfortable and scared was a new type of awful and selfish for this character. It just doesn't seem Joe to me.

We will see how the season ends, but I'm disappointed as of now.

What the actual hell?
idongesitotong31 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I love this show but this season has been a mess and this is the worst episode so far

Love is ruining the show... The decision making of the writers is unintelligent. Who kill someone and just shouts it out when you get emotional. It's too far fetched and unrealistic as other poor decisions love has made this season due to poor writing

I've not even finished the episode but I was pissed off at the direction the show is taking hope the cameras catch them.

This is not we expect from you! (Season 3 clueless as always)
vanjarbharat14 November 2021
Anything happening here! Yes! It was Netflix guys, if season 1 is hit why they work hard on storytelling? People would defenetly watch it. We remember when beck is in cage and screaming and scared, but no there two guys in this episode will live there as normal and happy in next episode Amazing game by writers. What a disappointment.

Jumping the shark?
DrCharlesMontague16 May 2022
So, this episode was definitely more interesting than literally all of season 3 so far, and I have not watched the last two episodes yet, but even though this episode was definitely spicier I'm wondering if this is where this show has officially "jumped the shark?"
