- This is a real-life short documentary. On October 10, 2006, The Painting Group consisting of 25 artists came together to simultaneously paint the portrait of Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. The Group worked through her friend, David Hume Kennerly, for assistance in securing Ms O'Connor for the project. The film documents the progress of several of the artists during the session and brief comments from their mentors/ instructors about their work. She spent six hours during the project with the artists. There are insights into portraiture of famous Americans, particularly past U.S. Presidents, during this short film. In addition the Justice has comments during the documentary that provide an insight into some interesting aspects of her life and her humor. The artists later join Ms O'Connor at a reception where she views their finished artwork.
