Is not as bad as some say, the whole COVID situation was expected for a medical drama, and the feeling must be the same as having cancer and see an episode dedicated to a cancer patient. The BLM shirt situation I can't understand why is that an issue, I have a "Gay is OK" shirt I wear randomly as much as my Naruto or any other anime shirt. Things that bothered me a little, we get the whole covid thing and still see the doctors without masks in random situations, the whole Claire seeing and talking to a Melendez that clearly looks like time passed, his hairdo is different and all, I once would like to ser a ghost/memory appear looking the same as they looked before dying and not like they have been alive all this time.

S4.E2 - Frontline, Part 2 [8/10]

Warning: Spoilers
(S4. E2) My Live Reaction / Review for The Good Doctor Season 4 Episode 2 ''Frontline, Part 2''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 7/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Another covid episode? I really didn't need this. I hope it wont be as preachy as the previous one. What is going on? Is Claire talking to Dr. Melendez's ghost now? This isnt healthy. Dr. Glassman doesn't know how to apologize, he can be very arrogant. Its so sad that the nurse died. I hope that we will see more Dr. Melendez in future episodes, even if it is just the ghost of him. Its nice what Claire did for the old man. Overall this episode was good and I enjoyed it. My rating is 8/10.
Great episode !

Thank You ABC for Tonight's epidode showing how many people died alone with Covid. Thank you for reminding us of all the sacrifices of the Healthcare workers. I. Very impressed that you aren't trying to Sugarcoat this Virus. Excellent portrayals

It's about reality

I think it was good for us to see things from the Healthcare providers perspective. It really let's us see how the pandemic unfolded in a different way, and definitely made me even more thankful for the people who are working with these patients. I have nothing but respect for them
Respect for the frotline

I was realy shocked with the baaad rating for these two amazing episodes. The 2 episodes gives respect for all the fronline workers and shows compassion with those who were infected.; add to that the message to the audiance!
It was heartful thoughtful and beautiful.
I have always liked this show!

It was difficult for me to originally watch the first two episodes because I like it wasnt represented right but in reality of what happened with what we experienced with the Pandemic, this is kinda realistic. Im in EMS and on a different side of the whole experience.
Why make it political!!!😡

Glad this story arc is over! I did enjoy the stories with the main characters; however, was it necessary to make it political with the BLM tshirt?!?
Bad enough it was about COVID, this is fictional tv show that I watch to escape the real world.

I loved this show

And then came 2020..
I used to love this, myself being on the spectrum, seeing representation albeit mixed quality was refreshing, and the story was just sappy enough.
But this season.. dear god.. the covid focus has been suffocating the show.
It gives some of the actors, that can't act.. looking at you Christina Chang.. the chance to act like they don't want to be there, and boy do they deliver.
The lines are as dry as someone reading from a teleprompter, the overlap of true stories of the toll covid has on every day life.. it is conveyed in the enthusiasm of an 80's "don't take drugs" infomercial.
That's what the show is now, a sub par infomercial, trying to cram as much ideology as they can into 40 minutes, even slipping in a BLM tribute because.. well why not.
This gives me terrible concern where other shows are going.. like the rookie and brooklyn nine-nine, who are no longer permitted to show police officers in a positive or humanizing light.. I predict much brokeness!
I hated these two episodes

Generally I love this series, but these two episodes I just watched just rubbed me the wrong way. I hated idea that doctors had time to dance around some individual patients, like talk to them for hours, search for their belongings and that wife that was constantly on husbands phone was so annoying I wanted just not to see her ever again! Like any doctor ever had time to bother with each patient's private life or to listen to super annoying controlling spouse that just can't leave everyone alone for a second! I hated every second and I watched it because I loved previous 3 seasons, but this is just... awful! There is no way in hell doctor ever, even less during pandemics, had time to be with one single patient and make the whole ceremony out of each of them and to have horribly stupid conversations with their annoying spouses. I hate to say it but other medical shows just dealt better with same subject.
Don't like narration

Stopped watching after this exact episode. So disappointing how predictable and boring the writing became. For example, when Dr Alex Park did not realise he did not actually love his ex wife for any reason other than the love she has for their son until Shaun pointed out to him, and then what do you know, his ex wife says the exact same thing when asked what she loved about Park. There is no longer any subtlety to the writing, everything is slapped in your face you can see it coming from a mile away. The show just became soppy, it seems like the writers are attempting to make every single scene be a message piece or have some kind of deep impact on its audience but it's just too unsurprising for there to be any moving effect personally. Shame about Dr Melendez, as I saw an exciting story coming with him and Dr Browne, now it is just boring soppy TV.
