One of the best of Season 2. Esther (played by folksinger Holly Near) is a student who believes Lincoln was a great man as well as a great President. Jason believes he was a racist cop-out artist. Jason is at his most angry in this episode. Dana Elcar plays the guest in the classroom and he angrily storms out, probably costing Pete the award. Ed Begley Jr also appears as another student.
