The avocado effect prank is one of my favorites. The actual set up of the prank is pretty basic but still funny with Eric putting Vietnamese food on the guys bag with his laptop for security. I felt so bad for the guy he was so confused and concerned. Then they added the Vietnam flashbacks and Eric getting shot, I just lost it. It even goes further with the reveal of the avocado effect and then Eric asking the guy if he's bi. I know I've continuously said these things this season but they've perfected the escalation and pranks. When a normal prank would've been already decently funny they add several different layers to it bombarding you with chaotic hilarity. The other pranks were still good, they had their moments, but definitely not as good as the pranks have been on average this season.
I gotta say, Felipe Esparza carried this episode for me. He's such a peculiar co host but I'd say he's the next best co host after Hannibal which is not something I say lightly. Sometimes he's just saying a random story and I don't know why it's so funny to me but it is. The interviews this episode weren't as good but I think they each had some great moments. Luis Guzman was nice to see, though I hoped a bit more for his interview there were still some very funny moment with him. I love when he said "Get the **** out of here." I just really liked his reactions and how Felipe played around with him. I liked the brief return of Reese Witherspoon. Tia Carrere was another fine host. I found it hilarious when Eric started attacking the crew saying they couldn't film this, but apart from that her interview wasn't that great overall.
The episode ends with Rapper Warrior Ninja which is always welcome. I like how we've gotten multiple this season. Usually the final musical guests aren't that funny in my opinion but these are always great. I loved when Lil Yachty jumped off into the floor instead of the padded area. As a whole this episode was definitely the weakest this season, but it was still consistently funny. Not all the episodes can be above average.
