Along with a supercut of It: Chapter Two being talked about by director Andy Muschietti, we’re also getting word that there may be more to explore in Pennywise’s universe. After all, given that the demonic clown has been knocking about for quite some time, we probably haven’t heard about all the residents in Derry, Maine that he’s terrorized.
In fact, the writer of both It films, Gary Dauberman, has now said that a spinoff may happen in the future. Speaking with Comic Book Movie, the scribe noted that there’s more to discover in Stephen King’s classic horror novel and he seems interested in expanding on it as there’s “only so much of the story we could tell in the two movies.”
He wonders whether audiences would want to see a spinoff, though. And while we can’t speak for everyone, we’re pretty...

Well, I wasn’t planning on writing about Channel Awesome, at least, not right away, but Jesus; that escalated quickly.
So, as of the moment I’m starting to type this, it’s Monday, the 26th of March, 2:00pm Pacific Time Zone, and in the last 48 hours or so, by my count, and I might be off here, but at least six and probably eight producers have resigned from Channel Awesome over the last 48 hours, and that number might be increasing, including but not limited to such names as Linkara, Todd In The Shadows, Diamanda Hagan, Rap Critic, Mike Jeavons, Sf Debris and Suede, some of those names have been apart of the site for almost a decade and I’m personally a fan of a lot of them, as well as several of the numerous past contributors, who, for some reasons got into a Twitter discussions about their...

What We Do In The Shadows is on its way to becoming a television series as Variety reports FX has given a pilot production order to a potential show. Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, who starred in the original film, will serve as executive producers on the potential series.
From what we know about the project from past interviews, it's been said this series will take place in the United States. Described as a reboot, the potential series will likely follow vampires, which is a different subject matter than the film's sequel We're Wolves. They are also working on a spinoff series in New Zealand called Wellington Paranormal, following the bumbling cops Karen and Mike who were briefly featured in the film.
What We Do In The Shadows was one of the best comedies I've seen in recent memory, so I'm really hoping this show gets ordered to series! Are...

Alan Collett has a great new ghost story film out now called The Shadows in which he stars in and helped produce. The Shadows follows five friends seeking refuge in an abandoned islands lighthouse after a near fatal collision with an unknown vessel. As they start to settle in, odd noises, strange artifacts and mysterious shadows emerge, bringing the group’s personal conflicts and secrets to the surface. When they receive a frantic warning that pirates are coming, the friends start questioning what is real and what is surreal on this mysterious island. Before long they must prepare to defend themselves against the foreboding "shadows" that threaten to take their souls. Collett also has the feature film 'Truth' coming out later this year about a terrorist cell that takes three Americans hostage and threatens to expose a secret that will shatter America's soul; and he is currently in-production on a third picture,...

A group of friends who have ended up shipwrecked on a small island are forced to seek refuge in an old, abandoned lighthouse only to discover that a curse has befallen upon them.
People watch horror films for a myriad of reasons, but three factors that stand out are- some want to be scared silly. Others look to horror for a greater range of creativity. And others just simply want to be entertained. The Shadows fails on all three counts as it goes through the motions telling an all too familiar story all too predictably while failing to illicit any scares or build up any suspense. Even at eighty some odd minutes, The Shadows seems longer then it really is, because the film has one repetitive situation after another...
