The song being played during the math problem at the beginning of the episode is "Popcorn", by Stan Free and it's considered to be the first synth or techno song ever released.
The outdoor neighborhood where Sheldon is riding his bike is on the Warner Bros lot. The green and white property to his left is Roger Murtaugh's house from the Lethal Weapon (1987) series and the house before that, barely visible, with the green car in the driveway is the Griswold house from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989). The house just beyond Murtaugh's house is the Stevens' house from Bewitched (1964) and the Donahue house from The Middle (2009). The Heck house is also visible.
The outdoor neighborhood where Sheldon is learning to ride his bike without training wheels is the same one used in WandaVision (2021), when the boys are looking for their lost dog, Sparky.
As previously noted, Sheldon spends a lot of time on Warner Ranch's Morning Glory Circle in this episode. When he is preparing to time his speed with a stopwatch, the old Bewitched (1964) house is behind him and when he starts his test run, he is on the stretch that includes Meemaw's house, although editing and camera angles keep her place out of the scene. During his walk, he will, at one point, also pass in front of the old The Partridge Family (1970) house.
At the dinner table, Sheldon says that he has never used a fork with his left hand before. Civilized people eat with knife and fork, holding the fork in their left hand and the knife in the right. Eating with only a fork held in the right hand is considered rude and boorish.
