This episode aired fifty years ago on the subject of venereal disease. Even though it is nothing to write home about today I imagine they had a lot of problems getting this episode made past the censors objections. Mister Kaufman is giving a lecture to his teachers at the beginning about a vd educational seminar where he mentions that one in five high school seniors have the disease. One elderly teacher pure of heart immediately volunteers she immediately gives information to a student named Joe Bob (who is played like a stereotypical hick) and finds herself in deep trouble. She definitely has a lot of spunk because she makes a whale of a speech to the ignorant school board in the end. I liked her character so much I wish they had shown her on another episode!

Teacher Miss Huggins tries to help student Joe Bob with education on venereal disease.
A pretty good episode. Most interesting thing is Miss Huggins is played by elderly actress Ruth McDevitt. Joe Bob's father is angered that she talked to his son without his knowledge. He has her put before the school board.
