Okay, this one here was released in November 2020 and it was uploaded on the Youtube channel that belongs to famous musician Lil Nas X. This is not even 50 seconds long and if I am not mistaken, this is a very short trailer for the songer's (then) new song and music video. Clearly the holiday season was approaching, so don't be surprised to see reindeer in here and a man in a Santa costume. The letter gets kicked out of a saloon and there we have the western film component again that was so all over Lil Nas X's collaboration with Billy Ray Cyrus, which was obviously a gigantic success. So he does stick to what worked well for him you could say and I somehow found the idea of Santa being kicked out of a saloon funnier than I should have. But this does not make it a fun watch. The singer's voice has great recognition value though which works in his and the overall project''s favor, but I simply do not think a trailer for a song or music video is something that needs to be done. Still, it could have been way worse than it turned out, so I will not be super harsh with my rating here and what I hear in the end, I kinda liked as well, so it's alright I guess. Eventually though I would suggest to everybody to check out the actual music video instead, even if I know this was not yet possible when this one here came out. Finally, as you can see from the photo on imdb, this is probably mostly a good watch for fans of actor Michael J. Fox, but even his little reference that combines the pandemic with time travelling was way to short to give out a positive recommendation this time. I guess you skip it, even if I'd be kinda curious to watch a Christmas-themed western movie now, so mission accomplished now. Nonetheless, I do not feel particularly inspired to check out some of Lil Nas X's other music, so mission not accomplished there. That's it.
