Hazel Plays Matchmaker
wes-connors1 March 2012
Hazel (Shirley Booth) and the Baxter family are excited about the arrival of novelist Vaughn Taylor (as Jeremy Webster), a professor who once taught George (Don DeFore). Neither they nor pretty Dorothy (Whitney Blake) can find a copy of his well-worn book, so Hazel and Dorothy go to buy a new copy. His novel is sold out at the local book shop, where Hazel learns forlorn proprietor Lurene Tuttle (as Celeste Morgan) may have formed the basis for one of the Professor's characters. George's co-workers are also enamored of the man, but Hazel wins his attention by playing matchmaker.
