what were they thinking??

I still cannot comprehend as to what went through rafi-meccartin's mind when they were making this movie. After making us laugh like anything, with movies like Mayavi, Punjabi House , Hello n Thenkashipattanam , they have churned out something totally unlike them.

Mammootty, in the beginning of the movie promises us a comedy and throughout the movie and barring a couple of scenes with Suraj Venjaramood and Salim Kumar, there was nothing which could even bring the smallest of smiles. There was no emotional quotient to the movie as well. The plot was wafer thin and it was as if the director duo was in a hurry to get over with the movie. Nedumudi Venu gave one of the worst performances of his life and the less that is said about the heroine and the main villain, the better.

Making a buffoon out of an actor of Mamootty's caliber and finishing with a product which makes the audience suffocate and leave the theater before the movie ends was not that I had expected of a Rafi-Mecartin movie.

Final verdict : It is much more worthwhile sitting and counting the waves at the beach, than suffocating oneself with the numb mindless sequence of events, filmed and presented to the audience by the name "Love in Singapore".
