Filmed over 17 days in 4-to-8 hour shoots, entirely without permits.
The climactic wedding sequence was supposed to be held in the backyard of the house doubling as the home of Chandra's parents. While driving around the night before, 'Matthew Naclerio' pointed out 'Bill O'Reilly''s house along the road. "That's where we'll shoot the wedding!" (The house can be seen in the background throughout the scene.)
Much of the makeup scene itself was unrehearsed. Brian Fairbanks took 'Matthew Naclerio' aside to tell him to apply an absurd amount of lipstick and eyeliner to throw Shannon Lower off her game and keep the scene surprising.
The film was supposed to be bookended by 'Edith Piaf' songs, but the filmmakers couldn't reach the publishers of the original French lyrics.
Ayesha Mansur Gonsalves's debut.
