Guy begins to wonder if his beloved Melissa was indeed the intended target, as friend Paula is hurt in a car accident. Guy starts to win Inspector Carter over, as the identity of Mary's father is uncovered.
So many fabulous murder mysteries have been written over the years, and Melissa counts as one of the best, it seems inevitable that Guy killed his wife, only by this stage do you begin to see other possibilities. The acting is slick, the sixties production values look so good. I love the High Street and shops.
It's a very good penultimate episode, who's lying, and for what reason? Who's attempted to kill Joyce and Paula, so many questions, who's the killer? Exciting.
