Storyline
In Northern Yucatán, sinkholes constituted the sole water source for some Mayans. Cenotes were used for ritual sacrifices, and the Mayans believed that these holy springs connected this world to the afterlife. Exploration of cenote is gorgeous yet frightening cinematic experience. Intense rays of sunlight and star-like particles drifting in the water creates continuously changing geometric abstraction on the screen that put me in hypnosis. The only moments that woke me up from this dimension between our and the other world are when a familiar fish occasionally drift across the sub-aquatic terrain.
