Mike milking the cow
VanDaim16 September 2021
Decent car show for the petrolhead, but like nigelfour say, i also think its strangel panel choice, you can obviously see they where chosen because of the role they already have within the discovery channel, but the combo just feels abit strange.

Also they use to many clips that we have seen before, like the hot hatch EP they show clips over and over again from the Wheele dealers EP when they did the GTI MK1 and also clips from 5th gear, salvage hunters: classic cars, goblin garage etc, so it feels abit milking the cow from mike here, just another show about cars and use as mutch clips we already have and people already working on the channel having a show.

Gets a 5/10 because of reuse of old material, lack of originality, strange panel, and the feeling mike just doing this to cash in some money to be honest.

Gets 5/10 because it has some great cars, and yeah that works if i got nothing else to watch.

Decent, but a strange panel

This is a decent series which isn't bad for sticking on if you have a spare 40 minutes.

The choices of cars in each episode are probably pretty bang on, I don't think anyone could really argue with the shortlists, however the final choice is definitely up for debate but thats what happens when you have such a large number of people voting for something.

The main problem I have with this series though are the people chosen on the panel. Some of them are great (Chandhok, Butler-Henderson, Reid, Pritchard) but the rest seem to have been chosen from Made in Chelsea/Towie/Geordie Shore type people who love screaming "epic" to describe the different cars. And of course, as is the way these days, the word "literally" is completely overused to the point of nearly having to switch the tv off. Jimmy de Ville also speaks...as though...he's talking...on a tv advert. Just talk normally!!

This could have been a great series. It would have cost a lot and been a contractual nightmare but a panel with Chandhok, Butler-Henderson, Reid, Pritchard, Clarkson, James May, Martin Brundle and Tiff Needell could have made this a brilliant watch. Never mind.

Crap

You want to waste time? Watch this boring, pretentious, yadda, yadda talk fest. Guess who the front figure is, yeah right, him. Nuff said. Go read a book, beat your wife, eat a dog, anything, but do not spend one minute watching this. I did, for you.

Boring

This was boooooring.

A car show without Clarkson, Hamster or May can never be good as they made em.

I thing this great lump of gristle must have something on one someone at the discovery channel, as all of a sudden, he is waddling around everywhere with his stupid fat, very punchable face. I could only bare watching him in wheeler dealers because I liked to see what Edd did with the rubbish that this hand-shaking idiot waddled in with... when Edd left, and who can blame him, I stopped watching. Now it seems that he is doing all that he can to rub Edd's face in it, and say "look where you'd be now if you'd stuck with me ma son," the fake cockney idiot.
