The two characters represent two things. Bill is the desire for a quiet modest life, while Richie is the need to be seen and recognized. They also represent two real people. Richie is someone from Tony Del Degan's life, and Bill is Tony himself. Bill's dialogue is what Tony wishes he could say to that person.
The script was a submission for a high school drama project. Tony Del Degan, the writer and director, kept it instead of throwing it away, then eventually produced an audio drama version.
All three actors were found through Facebook filmmaking groups.
