[6.6] You ... don't ... learn!
cjonesas7 August 2021
A weak final episode with jelly acting by everybody, but the charismatically mischievous and deceptive Ronnie and Scarlet. All the events and actions being not credible, presented like that only to have a second season with the "superwoman" Cassie going to try to save the day, while she couldn't even save herself.

I won't even start with the ranch family and their sub-plots, though well-acted, contributed almost nothing to the storyline and went to oblivion.

Episode 16

Warning: Spoilers
A wild ending sequence. Finally a little bit of shock and awe here.

Doesn't make up for weeks and weeks of bad episodes, but at least this was a mildly impactful finale.

Worst see TV
norockets20 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Although this series has had many bad episodes, this is easily the worst episode of Season 1. Nothing that happened in this episode was even remotely believable. From allowing civilians to interrogate to transporting him to a kill site with hardly any security to the whole rescue, it was absurd and funny on all the wrong ways.

too convoluted

Warning: Spoilers
Just throwing in twists to drag it out now. Things could not come easier for Ronald if he was getting supernatural help.

Should have ended the season tonight, but it's just getting dragged out.

Great cliffhanger ending for the season but Cassie Dewel and Jenny Hoyt has to have a better team, way of dealing with suspects and Backup officers(copy CBS's SWAT)!

Have you noticed that on CBS's SWAT, Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson and company are always efficient when it comes to catching suspects very fast? Well, that is what should be applied on this show with the main protagonists! Seriously, a crossover between those characters from SWAT could help Cassie Dewel and Jenny Hoyt change their attitudes and approach to these types of dangerous situations they find themselves in. How could Dewell, Hoyt, and Lindor make such an ameautur move like that without wearing bulletproof vests/protective tactical gear clothing? The writers could have at least make it more similar like on CBS's SWAT (if possible for season 2), no private investigator(s) is letting a serial kidnapper killer out to look for other victims with little backup/protection power. Why do they even have two inept private detectives who wasn't asked by anyone to help on the case, in fact they were ordered to stay away, and no one is paying them for their service, as limited as they are. The writers should and could have(also at least) used the Kleinsasser women to back up Dewell and Hoyt or another serial killer to help them spy on Ronald and girlfriend (Since I still don't get the whole ranch storyline and how it ties into the other crazy things going on). I feel like the whole ranch story was all over the place and could have gotten retooled by the writers if they had more time to edit (over season 1 after spending time with the Legarskisis).

Not so stunning and brave
Gatorman0622 May 2021
This show is getting more ridiculous each episode. Not one bit realistic, very predictable with all the men being evil and or weak, always getting bested by the women. The forced female empowerment coupled with all the dumb decisions the cops made in just this episode alone are enough to make me stop watching.

One of the last scenes of this episode showing the "strong" diverse, angry female stomping down the road trying to look tough with her big rifle and proceeding to steal a cop car was the cringe icing on this whole woke season. I give it a 5 because the acting is pretty good and the actors playing Ronnie and his girlfriend are great.

Ridiculous
gabriellek-9339229 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The season was definitely dragged out for who knows what reason? Not enough of a story I guess? The oh they were almost free! Was over it by the third almost. Then they throw in a random horrible family. For what? Then they finally get Ronald and, oh a car hit them while taking the prisoner to where he hid the bodies? I've seen this "twist" in pretty much every procedural show so it has definitely been played out. Then the PI grabs a cop car to chase down Ronald and slams on her brakes at the edge of town. She's not a cop so why exactly does she need to slam on her brakes? The show has to get better right? So far not so good.

good action
tezzahols19 May 2021
I gave the episode 5 because of the action and Jennie been shot, unfortunately she will probably survive, Ronald is becoming a likable character, Cassie jumping in a cop car and driving off and the 3 women running around with guns seem so stupid, surely even i America someone can't just go to a house with a gun and threaten a person and get away with it, the writers still need to make Jennie and Cassie more likable, and please no cross over with SWAT, hahahaha, Hondo would find some way of using it as a BLM thing and sulk, swat i hope is on the way out, to stupid of a show, this show may go the same way if there not careful.

Pathetic.
ben-mason1021 May 2021
After what has been a really good season this ending was a disgrace.

Poor writing from the start.

I won't be watching season 2, after this season finale Big Sky doesn't deserve one!
