- The young musician Katharina's father Hubert suffers a heart attack - and suddenly Katharina has to take care of his catering company on her own.
- The life of the lively Munich musician Katharina Schneider is not exactly going well: after dropping out of her music studies, she barely keeps herself afloat as a choir director in a retirement home and as a pianist in a band. Her strict father Hubert is anything but happy with his daughter's unstable lifestyle - which he lets Katharina feel at every opportunity. The constant arguments with her father and the unpromising prospects of her professional life have seriously damaged the young woman's self-confidence. To make matters worse, Hubert suffers a heart attack - and suddenly Katharina is faced with a big challenge: she has to take over the management of her father's catering company. What her father didn't tell her, however, was that the company was heavily in debt. Katharina has exactly three weeks to improve the financial situation of the ailing company, otherwise there will inevitably be a risk of insolvency proceedings. As if that weren't enough trouble, the creditor bank also provides her with the correct lawyer Ben Hallbauer as an advisor. He is supposed to help her save the company - or, if the worst comes to the worst, pull the emergency brake and close the traditional company. This awakens Katharina's ambition. With a talent for improvisation, a lot of charm and the active support of her gay roommate Jochen, his friend Bruno as well as the smart secretary Christa and the charming Ms. Wegener from the seniors' home, Katharina manages to land her first small orders. Even the cool, calculating Ben is impressed by her energy - and a tender love gradually develops between the clever young entrepreneur and the reserved lawyer. However, Ben has a secret: He is in a relationship with the lawyer's daughter Betty, whose father represents the interests of the catering queen Sophie Linzer - an arrogant chic diva who will use almost any means to ruin her unwanted competitor Katharina.—ADR Das Erste
