Warning: Spoilers
Industry returns for season 2 in a post-pandemic world. You see some facemasks in this episode, and much of the action (the usual bodily grinding that makes Industry famous) is outside of Pierpoint.

Somehow I wish more of the action in Pierpoint rather than the soap opera of the lives outside. But still, good to see Jay "Room 104" Duplass appear as a billionaire.

My prediction for season 2: Robert ends up having a one night stand with his client (Nicole Craig played by Sarah Parish) he's been desperately trying to woo this episode.

Great on "How to understand the impact of corona on mental health"

Warning: Spoilers
Industry, is show that's particularly based on 'real life'. So I'm glad, that unlike some other projects, as Succession, they've decided to keep the Corona Virus as a factor in the narrative. Leeding leading to Harpen's mental health getting worse.

Harpen is always an interesting character. The post-pandemic depressive and antisocial approach was a great choice of approach for a character who has so many personal issues to solve. But, it does it has the problem as others drama shows of HBO, like in Euphoria. The only characters that seem find any confront in to their psyches are the ones we are sometimes least interested in seeing, I must say - Kenny.

Must be said: so sad to see David Jonsson and his character, Gus, not making into this season. For me, he was the type of character that also had a certain curiosity. Yet different way from the other characters. More intellectual, and less partying. Which was a great counterpoint to some of the narratives in season one.

The people that went more than 18 months since watching the previous series may not notice the change of feel to the show than those of us bingewatching it.

The first thing is that the length has gone from around 48 minutes to 55 minutes which probably explains the slowness at times, eking out the story.

The presentation has changed too with images being darker than before.

It was difficult to care for the self-obsessed characters before but now the darkness makes them seem even more distant to the viewer.

Some characters that started the first series have gone and a few new ones enter at the start if this one.

The nudity that has been missing for a while has returned.

A good start but as I am only watching to impress a workmate, at this stage, I am probably the only viewer giving low marks.

It was all done in This Life.

Needs to be more interactive.
