While a very familiar tale, it's told very well

Two old men are patients in a hospital room. One is dying and bed-ridden while the other apparently is pretty sick but able to get around the room. The mobile man is very chatty and spends lots of time looking out the window and describing what he sees in order to cheer up the terminally ill guy.

The story in LOOKING OUT FOR GEORGE is a variation of a story I have heard several times before. However, despite the familiarity of the main story idea of the man looking out the hospital window and describing it to a dying friend, the execution of the tale was exceptional. Fine acting, lovely and evocative music and nice deft direction make the story quite enjoyable.
