Not Having The Dead Boby A Big Obstacle To Overcome
ccthemovieman-129 November 2009
This episode didn't have all the twists and turns that most of Dominck Dunne's program usually features, but it still was interesting. If you didn't know the case, it was all the more involving.

There is a lot of mystery here because there always is when there is an apparent murder but no body. Usually, you need a dead body to convict someone, too. When there is very little evidence, it makes the prosecution's case all the more difficult, sometimes impossible.

The victim here was 31-year-old Nina Reiser, a beautiful immigrant from Russian who was married to computer genius Hans Reiser, a rising star in Silcon Valley. The crime took place in the nearby Oakland, Ca., area.

A devoted mother, Mrs. Reiser suddenly disappeared, and there was no reason for it. Her friends, of which there were many, did everything they could but it was like she had just vanished in thin air. A week later, her vehicle was found, but still no sight of her.

What happened, who was charged, etc., I leave up to you to watch and find out. As mentioned, unlike many episodes in this "Power, Privilege & Justice" series, there are not a lot of twists and turns....but the final verdict is still in doubt all the way to the end.
