Telling a story with pictures
LazySod29 March 2010
The whole concept of cinema is to tell stories with pictures. This film holds on to that thought and takes pictures and clippings from many different (old) movies and connects them together with mixed types of music and tricks of light.

This kind of setting can work out - if there's enough variation to keep it interesting. To me that is where this film fails - it takes only a very short time before the initial pace wears out and the scenes and clippings start to stretch longer than they should be. The ending result is downright boring.

The actual story told isn't that bad and the clipping used match that story pretty well, but that in itself isn't enough.
