E! Mysteries & Scandals: Tennessee Williams (1999)

Lyle Leverich (biographer), Ailean Hale (historian), Jane Smith (friend), Kim Hunter, Carroll Baker, Eli Wallach, Dakin Williams (brother) and George Keathley are among the people interviewed for this look at the talented Tennessee Williams who wrote some of the greatest plays in history but this didn't stop the darkness from haunting him.

Friends and those who worked with Williams talk about what a brilliant man he was before drugs and alcohol caught up with him, which is the main focus of this episode. We learn what really drove Williams into the bottle and how he was found dead from an apparent overdose. We also hear from his brother who still thinks that he was murdered. If you're a fan of Williams then you should enjoy hearing the interviews especially those with actors who worked on stuff that Williams had written. His brother's theory is also interesting but doesn't sound too legit.
