I have a feeling no part of this episode was shot in Rio outside of library shots.
Well Bella and Linda get to Rio and impatiently wait for the others to arrive with the money.
Linda finds out that Harry Rawlins is not dead. Former DI Resnick is making his own investigations and he also discovers Harry Rawlins is alive but he gets one hell of a beating.
It is for Dolly and Shirley to leave the house with the money and get to Rio. They know that they are being watched.
Dolly now knows the true extent of her husband's betrayal. It leads to her revealing her true feelings with the other women.
Somehow the final episode was not how I remembered it. The memory cheats syndrome. What was clear, the production team that included Verity Lambert and LInda Agran wanted an ending that reflected a strong feminine perspective. The men in this drama were certainly not going to have everything their own way.
Despite their doubts, the women grow as characters. There is a scene where Shirley is slapped by Dolly and she hits back. In many ways Widows was a landmark series.
