A slightly better episode but still not great. Why did Angela run to a house down the road while there was a pub directly opposite?
We keep seeing the dogs home. Unless this is just a plug for Battersea then obviously the German shepherd will play a role in saving her.
TV and Netflix just seems full of these shows where a woman is being suppressed and all men are evil (Liar springs to mind!).
It's all slow and predictable. I am sure Olivier will end up getting killed but, like Liar, they will decide to do a series 2 anyway.
ITV really does seem to be misfiring with its drama at the moment Hollington Drive, The Long Call, The Larkins and Angela Black have all been a bit of a disappointment but it is good to see something new despite the pandemic affecting filming.
I will struggle on with the second half of the series.
