Very moving goodbye to Lilly.
Racingphan222 July 2021
Warning: Spoilers
It's almost as the producers realized here that the season was almost over, and they kicked everything into overdrive.

Jack and Mel break up and reunite for the hundredth time. Charmaine decides that maybe her new beau isn't so wonderful after all. Ricky crushes Lizzie's heart. Brie loses a baby, while Mel starts one, and oh yeah, Lilly leaves behind baby.

Stacey Farber as Lilly's daughter Tara does a phenomenal job as her character suffers greatly after her mother's death.

Get. Older. Wiser. Writers!!!!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was beyond weird. Mel struggling to forgive Jack? What?! What?! Let's put it into perspective: Jack was shot, he lost his memory, he heard that he is having twins with his ex, her new lover threatens to move the twins to a new town and to push Jack out of the picture, he loses his house in a fire, he gets bad news about rebuilding on the land and a legal battle looms, his sister comes back and dates the guy he thinks shot him, etc etc etc. Er.......and Mel is unsure whether she should forgive him or not?!?!?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!?! She has SO MUCH compassion for a pregnant lady and says "take all the time you need", but somehow Jack must act like a normal sane person after having being shot and going through all the other drama. How do you justify this?

5 months along with twins???

Who is in their 5th month of pregnancy with twins and looks like that? That is the only part of the last few episodes that I can think about! Isn't there a prop in the back room they can make her wear?

Too soapy

Warning: Spoilers
First two seasons had direction. Felt like it was moving towards something, and I wanted to see what happened next. Now it's just drama for the sake of drama. Everyone is purposefully doing annoying things to create some kind of unnecessary situation. Ricky and Lizzie are grinding my gears. Just tell her you joined the marines. It's not difficult. But he'll keep it a secret because "I didn't know how to tell you" (you just told her, dummy). Even Mel is getting annoying. In the last episode didn't she chastise Jack for being overly anxious and not trusting what she says? Then in this episode she says something along the lines of "but things are only gonna get harder. You have two babies on the way. You think you know what you want but that will change in the future". So she's doing exactly the same thing as what she criticised Jack for. That's literally all he said in the first place, and she told him to get out. I got this far so might as well finish season 3. But after the finale I think Im done and won't be watching season 4. These type of shows only get more soapy and aimless as each season goes on.
