Martin informs Patty that if she doesn't bring her grades up on her next paper then she is grounded from dating for two weeks. He further states the importance of good grades allowing her to into a decent college. Patty befriends a new student, Henry (Frank Killmond) who happens to be great at history. She manages to get clumsy boy to offer to help her with the upcoming term paper. She puts all the work on Henry. Complications arise when Richard comes over. Patty's actions earn a lesson from her father.
