Miss Lane is a busy body who likes to stir trouble with her neighbors! She was raised a privilege spoiled brat and remains such! She can nit relate to the trials and troubles of the poor working class neighbors!

The other reviewer here must have the depth of a 12 year old who hasn't watched the series. This episode is gorgeously written and expertly filmed, juxtaposing humor and pain, love and loss, sunlight and shadow. The wisdom of age intertwined with the innocence of youth. Seeing more than two sides to an issue and communicating what matters without crushing souls. Timmons' wife and son sold their new shoes to feed the family in a crisis. Beautiful act of loving sacrifice. Timmons causes Laura's pain but cushions the blow. The clockmaker who shared her path for a time will never be forgotten. First loves never are for any of us.
