  George : Right. Okay. Well aside from the fact that's a mental idea on so many levels, do you think you could possibly do it another night? Only I have a friend coming over for dinner. A female friend.

  Annie : Oh, okay. So I'm contemplating resolving my death so that I can move on to the next dimension. And you're worrying about gettin' your leg-over!

• George : [entering the flat]  I had sex with Nina last night, and it was bloody marvelous!

  Mitchell : [storming in from the kitchen]  Annie was killed by Owen.

  George : Five minutes. Could I have not just had five minutes the biggest news?

• George : Can't you see what you've done? You've turned us into a "Hello, how are you?" program with the whole sodding neighbourhood!

  George : Yes, till we inadvertently kill one of them.

  Nina : Croatian?

  George : But my Russian's pretty basic, I'm afraid. Sort of, "Two beers, please, my girlfriend's allergic to dairy products," that sort of thing, but I can get by.

  George : How could she possibly have PMT? She's a ghost.

  Mitchell : I don't know, but it's not worth the risk.
