Tim is driving Lee to post a letter, containing an entry into an essay writing competition, so shocked by what Lee's doing Tim jumps a red light and crashes the car. Miraculously Lee wins the competition, £1000, the topic 'the inequalities that the less able bodied suffer due to the attitudes of the more able bodied in the work place. He spends part of his winnings on five England world cup '82 commemorative mugs. Tim is stunned that Lee had the intellect to write it, he confesses that he downloaded the whole essay and that he was blind, Lee convinces Tim to collude, convincing Tim to lie about his accident. Lee's gutted to learn the competition organisers are sending someone around to interview Lee. A series of mishaps and lies cause mayhem, proof that you should always tell the truth :-)
I love Series 3, and this is one of the best episodes of the Series, utterly wonderful. The one liners are just fantastic, the show was faultless and effortless at this time, nothing was forced or predictable, it was just easy.
Great to see Daisy back, she really does add to the humour, Katy Wix's facial expressions are hilarious.
It's full of guilty laughs, times you know you shouldn't be laughing but you can't help it, this episode is the gift that keeps on giving, the humour doesn't let off for a single moment. The ending is out of this world, painfully funny. 9/10
