"Land of Milk and Honey" was created by invitation of The Sullivan-Goss Gallery; Santa Barbara, California; and was shot on location on the Central Coast of California. The film is accompanied by the release of a companion book "Land of Milk and Honey: Photography by Ken Volok".
Among the many surprise appearances in "The Land of Milk and Honey" are animation legend Chuck Jones; Budgie, the drummer for Siouxsie and the Banshees; filmmaker/skateboarding legend Stacy Peralta; World Surfing Champ Shaun Thomson; legendary art director George Delmerico and a shark.
The Indignitaries and Mondo Domingo provide music for the 5.1 soundtrack.
Footage from Ken Volok's "Bongo Boy" commercials is incorporated into the film.
