Sandeep Reddy Vanga chose to retain the Punjabi song "Arjan Vailly" in its original language in the dubbed versions, feeling it was very original and impossible to interpret.
The old Farsi song "Jamal Jamaloo" by Khatareh Group was used in Bobby Deol's entry scene. Tannaz Davoodi, Roshni Kaur, Ishveen and Ishleen appeared in this song in the film.
Anil Thadani, a distributor, told Sandeep Reddy Vanga that instead of 6 shows a day in a multiplex, the film might get only 4 a day because of its length. Vanga was fine with it, stating if he cut the film's length, cinemas would be empty by 3rd day.
While Ranbir Kapoor felt that the audiences who get triggered watching violence and dark movies should steer clear from the film, the actor in him reveled in the gray matter handed to him. He stated that being an artist, he wants to be triggered, but also mentioned that viewers having a personal backstory with their father or partner, which is triggered by cinema in general, should avoid this film because it dealt with a lot of different and complex relationships - father-son, sister-brother, brother-brother, which Sandeep Reddy Vanga dealt with in a very complex manner.
During a promotional event in Delhi, Ranbir Kapoor admitted to having seen a 229 minutes long version of the film, which he claimed was also entertaining, further adding that Sandeep Reddy Vanga worked really hard to bring the length down because one cannot stretch that much. Kapoor hoped the audience won't panic by the length and just come experience cinema at its best.
