I'm gonna start with the episode itself. All in all we'll done. Not the story I wanted to have shown. But a story we needed for some type of closure. Over all it had all the essential requirements of a Mac episode. Especially the happy, albeit bittersweet, ending.

So, you waited to kill off Jack. I get it. Covid screwed up a lot. I get that filming in Atlanta meant George had to fly from L.A. you wanted him to relocate. He didn't want to. But it's still possible to have kept him on. Reduce his appearances etc. Jack Dalton is an integral part of the MacGyver story. And allowing this to happen only makes this show more MacGyver than Macgyver. There HAD to have been some wiggle room on the negotiation.

And for goodness sake at least call one of the thousands of military technical advisors that are undoubtedly available to your studio. Have them bring a copy of AR 670-1 along and make sure your uniforms don't look like a soup sandwich. Last time I saw uniforms that bad the guy has CSM stripes AND a star on his shoulder. If you really can't afford one. Hit me up. I'll do it for a plane ticket & hotel. (A date with Levy? Oh and for Mac to rig up an AED cause my heart will likely stop if I met her.)

Yes they do kill jack but the episode felt like the old macgyver I fell in love with. There was action And teamwork. The emotions in this episode were unbelievable And Lucas till And Tristan Mays were absolutely on fire with their performances. I lost track of how many times I cried. It was such a beautiful tribute to jack and the family he created

Look, I understand that everyone is upset about Jack's death but something had to wrap up his story. George left the show and he had no plans to return. They couldn't keep him gone forever. And we both know that Jack wouldn't return but go off and retire somewhere else. He'd never abandon Riley and Mac. Those two were his family. Killing him off made the most sense. I get it hurts but they had to do it. The writer of the episode did Jack's character justice as well as his bonds with Mac & Riley. There's no one I'd rather write this episode. This is the first episode of the season that I'll actually watch more than once. That speaks volumes.

THIS EPISODE WHAT ABOUT IT! One of the most emotional episodes of Season 5, it was emotion from beginning to end the outcome of Jack's story, ours just to remember the eyes start to fill with tears. It was an episode of great emotions and revelations, of course with a lot of action and adrenaline, as always MacGyver serving excellently.

The beginning of the episode where Jack's coffin leaves the plane this scene devastated me, I didn't want to believe that he had died, and died in a heroic way, as Jack will always be remembered as a Hero.

At that moment, the whole family together reminiscing about moments with him, it was emotional.

Now Riley crying thinking about Jack, it was a beautiful scene to Tristin she gives herself body and soul, the scene and the character gave it all away, the moment she is playing Skeball and the Mac arrives, the scene of the two is fascinating, it's beautiful to see the perfect and unique chemistry, actors Tristin Mays and Lucas Till, you are the heart and soul of the series, all their scenes in this episode are flawless, chilling and emotional, our hero couple.

Now the most EXCITING moment that made me cry like a child was the moment when Mac goes to the bathroom on the plane, and cries a lot for Jack's death, there Lucas delivered himself in a spectacular way, an Oscar-worthy performance, really was the touching and striking.

The show is not the same. A true fan knows why Jack's character was dropped WAY before this episode. Sure, they owed him a salute but they went about it the wrong way. Mac and Jack were a team within a team and that wasn't highlighted at all in this episode. Bojana Novakovic is a great actress, I loved her on "Instinct" but she lost her Serbian accent many years ago. Her accent in this episode was obviously fake. Plus, she wasn't a good choice to portray an evil villain. It wasn't believable that she was a crooked Interpol agent. I still like the show but it is not the same knowing what they did with Jack's character.
