Vision grabs Wanda's head in both hands and squeezes, and the "real "Vision flies down and knocks his counterpart away into a camper, exploding it. Above Westview, the two Visions fight and SWORD says that Wanda must be neutralized and Vision destroyed. He phases his hand into Vision's head, and Vision phases through his attack. The two androids keep fighting and fall onto the street below.
Outside at the SWORD base, Hayward has his team continue tracking "their" Vision. Two armed S.W.O.R.D. guard bring a handcuffed Jimmy in, and Jimmy notices a phone on a table nearby, flashing. Hayward boasts that he's covered everything up that he's up to, and Jimmy secretly grabs the phone. The director says that nobody will care and his superiors will thank him for recovering Vision, a "valuable asset". He invites Jimmy to ally himself with him, and Jimmy seemingly agrees but says that more FBI agents will be there within the hour.
Hayward isn't sure if Jimmy is bluffing, and tells his team that they're done there. A guard shoves Jimmy into a storage shed, and he uses a pin to pick the locks on the handcuffs. Jimmy then calls the FBI and tells them to send agents. Wanda flies to the town square, and as she looks for Agatha, Agatha blasts her down. Agatha is on the roof of a nearby building, and says that there's a whole chapter of the Darkhold dedicated to Wanda: the Book of the Damned. She summons the Darkhold and says that it says that Scarlet Witch is forged, and has no need for a coven or incantations. Wanda insists that she's not a witch, and Agatha tells her that it's Wanda's destiny to destroy the world.
When Wanda insists that she's not who Agatha says that she is, Agatha frees "Dottie" from Wanda' spell. As her real self, Sarah Proctor, the woman asks Wanda to free her imprisoned 8-year-old daughter from her room so she can hold her. Agatha says that she just "cut the woman's strings", and releases the other townspeople from Wanda's spell. The townspeople surround Wanda,

From their bedroom window, Billy and Tommy watch the two Visions fight. Billy has a vision of Wanda fighting Agatha in the town square, and tells Tommy that they have to go.
Wanda insists that the townspeople will be all right, and they tell her that they have her nightmares. They say that Wanda's grief is poisoning them and beg her to let them go. Wanda screams in anguish and releases a burst of magic. Magical garrotes tighten around their necks, choking them, and realizing what she's doing Wanda ends the spell. Wanda says that they'll let them go, and Agatha tells her to use her power and do it.
Wanda releases a burst of magic and yells at the townspeople to go. Outside the barrier, Hayward and the others see the magic, and Hayward tells his team that they're going in.
S.W.O.R.D. Vision knocks Vision out of the sky.
Hayward and his people drive into Westview, through the weakened barrier.
Vision slams into the street near Wanda, his body coming apart under the onslaught of magic that created him. Billy and Tommy arrive, calling to Wanda for help. They collapse, and Agatha tells Wanda that since she tied her family to the new reality, one can't exist without the other. She tells Wanda that Wanda can save Westview or her family, but not both.
Wanda pulls the magic back into herself and the hex barrier reasserts itself. Jimmy watches from the S.W.O.R.D. base as the FBI reinforcements he called arrive.'
Recovering, Vision and the boys go to Wanda. When Agatha attacks them, Wanda shields them with a spell and Agatha draws the magical energy into herself. Wanda's body decays more, and Agatha and S.W.O.R.D. Vision both fly downward.
Hayward and his people arrive, and get out of their vehicles, guns drawn. Vision and Wanda tells the boys that they were born for it, and Vision flies up to attack S.W.O.R.D. Vision as he attacks the family. The two androids crash into a nearby library, and S.W.O.R.D. Vision says that his programming directive is destroy Vision. He grabs Vision, and Vision manages to grab him and say that he isn't the true Vision, only conditional. S.W.O.R.D. Vision request elaboration.

Billy stops the last one with magic, Hayward is out of bullets, and gets into his hummer and drives off. Darcy arrives in the circus' funnel cake truck and smashes the hummer.
Vision posits a theory in metaphysics about whether anything replaced entirely is the original, or if the original is still the original if replaced. Both androids agree that neither one is the original, and they both are... just like them. Neither one of them has the original Vision's memories, and Vision releases the memories in the Mind Stone being kept from S.W.O.R.D. Vision so he can be easily controlled. S.W.O.R.D. Vision says that he is Vision and flies out.
Going outside to his family, Vision embraces them. Wanda finds Agatha on a nearby rooftop and casts a spell placing her in a mindscape of when her coven turned against her. The coven comes back to life, and they tie Agatha to a stake, but then turn against Wanda and tie her to the stake. Agatha tells Wanda that she has the power but now the knowledge. A glowing magical tiara appears on Wanda's head, and Agatha says that if Wanda hands over her power, then she'll correct the flaws in Wanda's spell, restore Westview, and make sure no one has to feel the grief Wanda is feeling.
Wanda blasts the coven away, then knocks Agatha off the roof. They fly into the air and Wanda tells Agatha to take her magic because she doesn't want it. She blasts Agatha repeatedly, and Vision flies up but Wanda knocks him magically back.
As Wanda's body continues decaying, Agatha tells her to keep blasting her and giving her the magic. Agatha tells Wanda that a spell once cast can't be broken, and the world Wanda made will always be broken... like Wanda. She tries to cast a spell, but nothing happens. Runes appear on the barrier walls, and Wanda reminds Agatha of the runes in Agatha's basement, that negated all magical spells but the one who cast them.
Recovered from the decay, Wanda takes her magic back from Agatha, and Wanda transforms into the Scarlet Witch. She lowers them both back to the town square, and Agatha asks if Scarlet Witch is going to lock her up. Scarlet Witch says that she's going to lock Agatha up in Westview, as the "nosy neighbor". Agatha tells Scarlet Witch that she'll need her given what she's unleashed, and Scarlet Witch tells her that if she does need her, she'll know where to find her. With that, Scarlet Witch turns her into Agnes and tells her that no one will bother her in Westview.
Tommy and Billy run over, and Vision joins them. He figures Scarlet Witch will set everything right... but not for them. She agrees and they head home.
The barrier drops and everything changes back to its modern day version.
As night falls, the family returns home, and Vision and Wanda revert to their "normal" selves. They put the boys to bed, and Vision tells them that he and Wanda are very proud of them both. Wanda says that they couldn't leave each other if they tried, and then she and Vision leave the room. Wanda looks out the window and sees the magical wave sweeping toward the house. She thanks her sons for choosing her to be their mother.
In the living room, Wanda looks briefly at a photo of her "family". She turns off the lights and Vision says that he wanted to see her clearly. The wave approaches, and Vision asks Wanda what he is. She says that she created him, and he's her sadness but mostly her love. They kiss, and Vision wonder he'll be next. The wave sweeps toward them, and Wanda tells Vision that they'll say 'hello' again. Vision then disappears, and Wanda finds herself standing in the middle of the ruined foundation that was to be her house when she first arrived in Westview. She pulls up her hood and walks away.
In the town square, Wanda finds the S.W.O.R.D. troops and the townspeople. The townspeople glare at Wanda, and Wanda finds Monica. Monica tells Wanda that the townspeople will never know what they sacrificed for them, and Wanda figures it wouldn't make a difference if they knew. She points out that Monica doesn't hate her, and Monica says that if she had the power, she'd bring her mother back.
Wanda tells Monica that she doesn't understand this power, but she will. Wanda then says her goodbye to Rambeau and flies away just as the authorities arrive, before leaving she turns around to observe New Jersey one last time.
