Finally a Strong Episode this Season [8/10]

Warning: Spoilers
Reaction / Review for Manifest Season 3 Episode 4: Episode 3 was ok and I gave it a rating of 7.5/10. Two months later and Grace and Cal are still with her step-brother? Makes no sense. So Zeke is now able to feel what others feel? That's new. I hope they will save Pete, he has a kind soul. I wonder when Zeke will get an actual job or is Michaela the only breadwinner here? It makes sense for Pete to have a history of being abused. I wish they used Jared more, his character is very cool to not use enough. Ben is always looking for trouble, he should do only things that Vance allows, how does he expect to gain Vance's trust? They have a dead passenger on ice? This is insane and disturbing. This episode is definitely stronger than the previous ones. Jared is getting closer to the truth about the Major, interesting. My rating is 8/10.

WOW. So many answers! Finally

Warning: Spoilers
This episode blew my mind because of how much they revealed! A lot of stuff had been hinted at previously but this episode confirms a lot!

Here's what I could piece together so far (MASSIVE SPOILER WARNING): So. These people are dying in some way or another, but dark lightning comes in contact with them right before they die. The dark lightning makes them essentially travel forward in time, basically preventing their death which would have 100% happened otherwise. When they come back, they have a limited amount of time, depending on how long they were gone (but how is this amount of time decided, that's one thing that hasn't been touched on at all), to follow callings and essentially choose to do good things to become truly resurrected, otherwise they die the way they were supposed to die. And if they die somehow during their callings period, then they're canonically dead the way they initially were supposed to die. But, if they follow the callings and do good, then they get to survive and be resurrected, while also having some new ability to connect with minds.

But there's still a lingering question: why? And what force is causing all of this to happen? The show has really surprised me with how good it's gotten, I've really enjoyed the first two thirds of season 2, and season 3 so far! (minus the meth heads story, which I care a bit less for)

FINALLY! This show has got some direction!

I've watched every episode, because my husband likes the show. It just never seemed to have much point or direction. But this episode was the best one yet by far, and I enjoyed! And what about the impressive acting chops of Devin Harjes? Great actor!
