Brooklyn 99 ended the best way possible, with on last heist.

When I heard that Brooklyn 99 was ending, I hoped they would do one more heist. Not only did we get a heist, but we got the biggest, longest, and best heist to end the series. The heist episodes are some of 99's best episodes, so as a fan, ending the series with a heist was a smart idea.

Goodbye 99, and thank you for all the great laughs.

This finale was epic!!! I have seen some reviews that say that it's out of character for jake to quit the force, but this entire season has been building up to this. Him seeing the flaws of the system in the first episode, him saving Doug Judy in their episode, he slowly became disillusioned with the police. He likes being a detective. He could be a PI like Rosa, but quitting the force was well set up. Besides that, the episode is the final heist, so it's crazy, elaborate amd hilarious!!!! Amazing finale!!!

Gina sucks. She's the most annoying character ever they should not have brought her back.

I recorded the eight and final season a couple of years back, and I've been meaning to watch it but life gets busy with the pandemic and all and things in life. With the tragically untimely death of Andre Braugher, I was motivated to finally get around to watching season eight. So here we are, and the writers lay the heist on think and fast and it's breathtaking audacity and what can be achieved.

Whilst NBC are to be commended for picking up Brooklyn Nine-Nine after the other network axed it, it's a shame they didn't give it the full 22 seasons for seasons six, seven and eight. I look forward to seeing part 2 of The Last Day.

The episode was rigged with flashbacks and walks down the memory lane, The squad getting back together for the last time and stuff was great but did seem a little hasty ..... AND Jake quitting all of a sudden is just pure nonsense. I don't know what they are trying to make a season finale or a documentary and embodiment of how politically correct things should be. People watch the show to relax not to be feed policies. We got the damn news channels for that.... It's such a shame that this great show is going down like this.

Oh come on Jake is quiting? You really stop doing thinks like that. We all know women could work and doing what they want but please stop being political. Thanks for ruining the season 8. I hope you all are happy.

Why did we need a Gina return? Just so unnecessary here.

This show had a great run, but this was another horrid episode with almost no laughs. Such a shame.

When I saw that there was a new season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, I was super excited to watch it. Unfortunately, it looks like they fired all of the writers from the prior seasons and brought in people who had barely any experience with it.

Holt shows emotions almost constantly throughout the season.

Half the episodes are all about beating a "cops bad" narrative into the audience - which is a really stupid thing to do in a cop show, and done pretty terribly (like when Jake arrests a guy who was trespassing and they keep calling him "innocent" for the rest of the episode, despite several pieces of evidence to the contrary).

The 'heist' was probably the worst of all of them so far, and they even brought back the worst character in the entire series - Gina.

Half the characters in the cast quit the force in this season, only showing up in oddly-placed cameos.

They aught to fire half the writing staff and replace them with people who can write good shows, like we had for the prior 7 seasons.
